Breakfast worker (m/f/d) for 3-4 days a week

Helga Scholz Koblenz am Rhein, RHEINLAND_PFALZ, GermanyPosted 5 Sept 2026

Description

Key facts

  • Employer: Helga Scholz
  • Location: Koblenz am Rhein, RHEINLAND_PFALZ, Germany

The position is also possible for career changers. 3-4 days a week at 6 hours per day. Possibly a 5-day week if you are on vacation or sick.

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, well-groomed and nimble person for the breakfast area who would like to take care of our guests. And also keep the buffet(s) presentable and look ahead in the kitchen, for example. B. scrambled eggs, coffee, etc. reordered.

By the way, “looking ahead” is very important for a consistent workflow and good collaboration for us. Only then can you be sure that you have time for what is important. That is: being visible and available to our guests.

However, “at the guest” or “at the buffet” is only part of the job. At the end of work, all rooms and areas are ready for the following service (e.g. in the evening)

Your working hours will usually be between 5:50 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Of course, it may be necessary to arrive earlier at the request of our guests. For example, if a travel group from the USA has to be at the airport in Frankfurt at 5:30 a.m. But that is rather the exception.

The "technical feasibility" of reaching us (e.g. own car, distance from place of work to home...) must be given. Even if you start early. If you do NOT live in Koblenz, please inform us about the feasibility in your application.

Weekends and holidays are like normal weekdays for us. This is what the industry brings with it. This means that e.g. B. people usually work on weekends and are free “during the week”. In the months December to March it is usually the other way around. Then many Saturdays and/or Sundays are free.

On a "request-free overview" it can be noted if "free" is required for a specific day. If you come by public transport, please also check whether there is a connection on weekends or public holidays.

To communicate with our guests you need English. If your English is "rusty", it may still be sufficient for us. In order to ensure good cooperation with our other employees, it is necessary that you can speak, read, understand and write the "German language".

We offer you:

- fair handling of your working hours (accurate to the minute with a “working time account”)

- good training and instruction in your work, including PC training

- long-term employment

- No seasonal work.

Remuneration and details about working hours are welcome during the first phone call to get to know each other.

If you like our job offer, we look forward to receiving your WRITTEN application by email to Application@HotelScholz.de. Since we expect ourselves to answer EVERY (!) correct and complete application, please note this

Points:

- please send from your own email address, NOT from the employment agency's system. Only then will you receive an automatic confirmation of receipt (“auto-reply”) with further information.

- please DO NOT send application folders by post. These will not be taken into account and will not be returned.

- please DO NOT apply by telephone or in person.

- please put the word "Application", the COMPLETE title of the job offer and your name in the subject field.

- Please send at least a CV, certificates and (if available) a mobile phone number with the cover letter. Send the attachments only as PDF, DOC or JPEG.

NOTE:We cannot provide you with accommodation or an apartment.

Please only apply if you live in Germany and can easily get there or are planning to move.
