We are a **hotel with an attached riding facility** and have specialized in **children's riding as well as riding lessons for beginners, beginners and advanced riders**.

We are now looking for a dedicated person for our riding company

### Our riding company

There are currently **10 horses and ponies** living in our stable - from Welsh Mountain to draft horses. In addition, we currently have **two two-year-old young horses**.

For us, the main focus is on enjoying the horse and safe, child-friendly handling. We look after riders from their first experiences with horses right through to advanced riders.

### Your tasks

Your everyday work routine is varied and includes both caring for our horses and riding lessons:

- Feeding and caring for our horses and ponies

- Manure and care of the stables

- Put horses out in the morning and bring them back in in the evening

- Riding lessons for **beginners, beginners and advanced riders**

- Focused on **children's riding and children's riding lessons**

- Corrective riding and gymnastic work with our horses

- Support in the training and further development of our horses

- Care and order of saddlery and riding equipment

- Keeping stables, riding halls and outdoor areas clean and maintained

- General work related to our riding business

### This is what you bring with you

- Experience in dealing with horses

- Enjoy working with **children and beginner riders**

- Safe and responsible handling of horses

- Reliability, sense of responsibility and independent work

- Willingness to work weekends

- **Good knowledge of spoken and written German**, as communication with our guests, especially with children and parents, is an important part of the job.

- Ideally a **trainer's license** or a comparable qualification

**You don't have a trainer's license yet? No problem!**

If you suit us professionally and personally, there is the possibility of acquiring the **Trainer License after successfully completing your probationary period**.

### Working hours & duty scheduling

The position is **60-80 hours per month part-time**.

The rosters are created **monthly** so that working hours can be planned in advance.

**Full working days:**

- Start of work: **8:00 a.m.**

- End of work: approx. **5:30 p.m.**

- Morning break: approx. **8:30 a.m. for 30 minutes**

- Lunch break: approx. **12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m.**

- Times may vary by approximately **30 minutes** depending on operations.

- For a full working day, **a total of 1.5 hours break** is always provided.

**On Tuesdays and Sundays** we generally only work a **half working day**.

Also applies:

- **We work one weekend per month**.

- There are **compensation days within the week** for the weekend worked.

- The exact division is made using the monthly roster.

- Personal wishes and availability can be taken into account when planning duty if possible.
