Home care needs 2 licensed nurses! 

We are looking for two committed and professionally skilled nurses for a temporary temporary position starting no later than 1. September 2026. The assignment is in Nordøya home service in Tromsø municipality. 

Period:

1. September 2026 – 30 November 2026, with the possibility of extension until 2026.

Work tasks

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients.
• Work closely with colleagues, GPs, hospitals and relatives.
• Participate in rota work (2-part rotation).
• Working across departments if necessary, including rear guard for other departments in the unit.
• Documentation and reporting in Profile and Mobile care.

Qualifications

• Norwegian authorization as a nurse.
• Documented knowledge of Norwegian at a minimum level B2, both oral and written. Language competence can be assessed through an interview or video interview.
• Minimum 2 years' experience from the Norwegian healthcare system. 
• Driver's license class B.
• Experience with the record systems Profile and Mobile care is desired. 
• Valid Norwegian BankID, as this is used when ordering medication.

Personal characteristics

• Have good collaboration skills.
• Can stand the assignment for a minimum of 8 weeks or more. Priority is given to applicants who can work throughout the period. 
• Is flexible and solution-oriented.
• Communicates well with colleagues, patients and relatives.
• Understands the importance of good cooperation between the municipal health service, hospitals, GPs and other partners.
