We are looking for a Customer Operations Manager for a rapidly developing technology company. The company develops technology for autonomous and remotely controlled operation of industrial machines, and is now in the process of moving from single deliveries to several customers and machines in continuous operation.

We are looking for you who can build up and lead a professional customer and operations organization - while you enjoy being close to the actual operation.

This is not a position where you just sit in the office and manage from a distance. At the start, the role will be very hands-on, and you must be comfortable contributing out in the field when necessary.

Area of responsibility

You will be responsible for building up and developing Customer Operations in Norway. This includes, among other things:

Lead, develop and follow up operators and other operational resources

Build a strong culture for safety, quality, responsibility and implementation

Establish good routines for staffing, shifts, training and competence development

Ensure stable and professional operations with customers

Building up the service and support function, including emergency response, spare parts and service capacity

Establish good routines for errors, incidents, escalation and continuous improvement

Work closely with technical environments, development, installation and service

Follow up external service partners and suppliers

Bring experience from operations back to technical and commercial environments

Contribute to customers at start-up or demanding operational situations

Build the organization further as the business grows

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a confident and operative manager who likes to make things work in practice. You thrive on new challenges and find it exciting to help build a department and make strategic decisions. It is an advantage if you have experience from the construction industry. You must be motivated to work in a growing company where processes and organization are still under development.

Has experience in leading and developing operative employees

Understands what is needed to create good and stable operations and shift arrangements

Is used to handling people, machines, customers and unforeseen situations

Can build structure without becoming unnecessarily bureaucratic

Takes responsibility when something stops

Is practical and solution-oriented

Has good technical understanding

Communicates well in Norwegian and English

Has high implementation skills and personal integrity
