Drottning Blanka's Gymnasieskola in Gävle was started in 2013 and offers vocational and college preparation courses within the Economics program, the Social Science program, the Hairdressing and Stylist program and the Sales and Service program. The school has approximately 440 students and 40 employees. We are now looking for a teacher for our Hairdressing and Stylist program.

Your mission

The service includes teaching hair care and salon knowledge level 1, practical marketing level 1 and supervision of high school work. You will also mentor a class together with a colleague.

In teaching, you combine practical elements with theory and create a clear connection between education and working life. You collaborate with colleagues and industry contacts and get an important role in the work of continuing to develop an attractive and professional programme.

Your profile

Primarily, we are looking for you who are a trained and licensed vocational teacher. We also welcome you who have long and relevant experience in the professional field and a great interest in teaching and developing young people.

You are structured, responsive and confident in your leadership. You find it easy to create good relationships and can meet students based on their different needs and conditions. You cooperate well with others and see it as a matter of course to be a good role model for our students.
