TEMPORARY HELP: Receptionist (m/f/d) with charm & charisma from 15 €/h NET

Helga Scholz Koblenz am Rhein, RHEINLAND_PFALZ, GermanyPosted 5 Sept 2026

Description

Key facts

  • Employer: Helga Scholz
  • Location: Koblenz am Rhein, RHEINLAND_PFALZ, Germany

For our hotel reception we are looking for an enchanting person who enjoys looking after our guests. If time and volume of work allow, I'm happy to go as far as "betuddling". In, e.g. B. One of the best-known booking portals www.Booking.com you will see when reading that our guests really appreciate this. If you can then manage the balancing act of keeping an eye on the reception work, you are the ideal person!

What reception work would that be? E.g. on duty in the morning:

- Check out guests

- Create cleaning lists

- Evaluate written reservations by email or fax (less often) and transfer them to the hotel software

- possibly accept telephone reservations, inquiries, etc.

In the evening the focus shifts slightly:

- Check in guests

- Enter registration forms (including international addresses)

- Evaluate written reservations, inquiries, etc. by email or fax (less often) and transfer them to the hotel software

- possibly accept telephone reservations, inquiries, etc.

- Support drinks counter

You work with us with these tools:

- PROTEL as hotel software

- OUTLOOK for emails, faxes, voice messages and SMS

- INTRANET for cleaning lists, work orders, internal communication, digital signage, etc.

- electronic building control

- VoIP telephone system in connection with smartphones/IP telephone

- under construction: ELO-DMS (digital document management) for general storage

For a good collaboration you should have these qualities:

- reliable and committed

- well-groomed and nimble

- communicative and experienced in small talk

Your working hours will usually be between 6:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Or between 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. (in exceptional cases also 7:00 p.m. to midnight).

Of course, at the request of our guests, it may be necessary earlier. For example, if a travel group from the USA has to be at the airport in Frankfurt at 5:30 a.m. But that is rather the exception.

The "technical feasibility" of reaching us (e.g. own car, distance from work to home...) should of course be given. If you do NOT live in Koblenz, please inform us in your application how you plan to handle it. If you use public transport on weekends or public holidays, please check the connection beforehand.

Weekends and public holidays are normal weekdays for us. This is what the industry brings with it. This means that e.g. B. people usually work on weekends and are free “during the week”. In the months November/December to March it is usually the other way around. Then many Saturdays and/or Sundays are free. On a "request-free overview" it can be noted if "free" is required for a specific day.

What else can you expect from us?

- fair handling of your working hours (accurate to the minute with a “working time account”)

- good training & introduction to your work

- year-round & long-term employment

If you like our job offer, we look forward to receiving your WRITTEN application by email to Application@HotelScholz.de. Since we expect ourselves to answer EVERY (!) correct and complete application, please note these points:

- please put the word "Application", the COMPLETE title of the job offer and your name in the subject field.

- please DO NOT send application folders by post. These are not taken into account

- please DO NOT apply by telephone or in person.

NOTE: We cannot provide you with accommodation or an apartment.

Please only apply if you live in Germany. And it's easy to get there or a move is planned.

It is also necessary that you can speak, read, understand and write the "German language".
