The tax office is located in the Chorweiler town hall. It can be reached within 20 minutes from Cologne city center using local public transport (S-Bahn lines 6 and 11 and light rail line 15).

* exercise the city of Cologne's right to information and participation in external audits of the Cologne tax offices, including major and corporate audits
* handle complex cases in special constellations of tax law, especially liability law
* process appeals (objections) in difficult splitting cases against splitting decisions from the tax offices

Your profile that suits us!
You have successfully completed:
* a university degree (bachelor's or technical college diploma) in administrative sciences, public administration/management, law or economics or
* of the administration course two or
* as a civil servant with qualifications for career group 2, 1st entry level position in the non-technical administrative service
In order to carry out your duties, it is necessary, among other things, that you have a particular level of reliability and live in orderly financial circumstances, according to the business instructions for the finances of the city of Cologne (GAFin).

* have in-depth knowledge of specific tax law (including trade, income and corporate tax law) and business law (including the Commercial Code, law relating to limited liability companies) as well as good knowledge of substantive tax law and the relevant procedural provisions of the tax code

The position is graded according to salary group A 12, career group 2, 1st entry level office LBesG NRW (state salary law for the state of North Rhine-Westphalia) (formerly senior service)
or according to pay group 11 TVöD (collective agreement for the public service). The monthly salary range in pay group 11 TVöD is between 4,269.64 euros (experience level 1) and 6,326.77 euros (experience level 6) for full-time work. Your professional experience will be taken into account when assigning you to the experience level within the pay group, as far as possible under collective bargaining law.
The grouping is carried out in accordance with the collective bargaining regulations.
The weekly working time is 41 hours (civil servants) or 39 hours (tariff employees). Employment is possible part-time and full-time.
