Breakfast manager (m/f/d) 3/4 rooms, up to €1,900

Description

Key facts

  • Employer: Helga Scholz
  • Location: Koblenz am Rhein, RHEINLAND_PFALZ, Germany

We are really looking for a “bright”, (almost always) good-humored breakfast manager (m/f/d) with charm and charisma. You have to “live” breakfast afterwards!

The breakfast area is very much appreciated by our guests and is one of the main reasons for the good reviews in various hotel portals. We want to further expand this standard. We are therefore looking for a capable manager who, during a training period of approx. 6 weeks, will "absorb" all the information and many details that will be conveyed to him/her directly by the deputy management.

After the training period, your task then leads directly to the management and management function. You should have a very good eye for details, be open to new ideas and contribute yourself.

HACCP, quality control, occupational safety, etc. should not be foreign to you.

When taking on a leadership and management role, make sure that you are actively involved in work activities. This means that you are actually working with us most of the time. Especially in the off-season, you often find yourself working alone. During the season, up to 4 employees can be assigned to you.

In order to have an overview of the overall scope of the position, it is also necessary that you have read the content of the position that was also advertised as a "normal" breakfast worker.

Overall, we expect maturity, life experience and resilience. We require the ability to take criticism as well as being used to or willing to work at a high quality level. Or the will and willingness to acquire or want to accept these things. Especially as a career changer.

We also require a quick, independent, responsible, organized and thorough way of working. It is essential that you do not only take notes (e.g. during briefings, meetings, etc.) after being asked to do so. Just as important: a well-groomed and absolutely clean appearance (e.g. daily shaving, etc.)

Worth English is just as necessary as good knowledge of general IT, Internet, etc.

Are you unsure whether you can do all of this? Don't worry, if you are really seriously interested, we will be happy to help you impart these knowledge and skills:

Your working hours will usually be between 5:50 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Weekends, public holidays and bridge days are all the same for us as a hotel business, which means that we work on these days.

Over the year, an average of 2 days off per week is a given. However, this also means that, depending on the workload, there may only be one day off per week (e.g. when the hotel is at full capacity).
