What awaits you:

* As Tax Manager Indirect Taxes (m/f/d), you are responsible for all indirect tax issues, especially sales tax, for a limited period of 18 months (with the possible possibility of a permanent extension).

* You support the department in maintaining and future-oriented development of tax processes and systems in relation to sales tax.

* You manage changes in ERP systems that are necessary for sales tax purposes.

* You are responsible for the guidance, support, control and further development of the Shared Service Center (SSC) in other EU countries for VAT issues as well as for VAT compliance and VAT accounting.

* You are responsible for the implementation of sales tax strategies and tax regulations, also with regard to the upcoming sales tax reporting system.

* You will process and answer sales tax issues from the tax audit with support if necessary

* You analyze and assess data evaluations, facts and decisions and create corresponding sales tax reports and documentation.

* You support the department in solving sales tax issues and are responsible for communication with partners and customers and create tax reports and documentation.

* You are responsible for the VAT assessment of new products before their introduction and handle tax issues in connection with projects, including contract drafting.

* You represent the department in internal committees and with partners to coordinate and implement tax changes.

What sets you apart:

* University degree in business administration or law or a comparable qualification.

* Alternatively: Completed commercial vocational training with additional qualifications as a tax clerk and/or accountant with a focus on sales tax or training in financial administration

* 5 years of professional tax experience with a proven focus on sales tax

* Tax advisor exam is an advantage

* Analytical thinking and strong active listening skills.

* Commercial understanding as well as a balanced and solution-oriented way of working.

* Flexibility, creativity and ability to work in a team and assertiveness

* Very good knowledge of O365 (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Word, Co-Pilot)

* Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English (B2 according to GER).

This position can be held full-time or close to full-time part-time (at least 30 hours).
