Do you want to work operationally with HR in a developing municipality?

Nordre Follo municipality is now looking for an HR consultant for a 12-month temporary position. We are looking for you who have a relevant bachelor's degree, and who wants to work broadly and practically with HR tasks - especially within first-line service with inquiries from A to Z.

Who are we?

Nordre Follo municipality is the region's largest employer with over 5,500 employees. We are a developing organization and have ambitious goals for our citizens. HR plays a central role in supporting managers and employees in everyday life and in change processes.

HR is organized in Organization and development, and you will be part of a large and varied HR environment. Everyday work is characterized by collaboration, professional sharing and high activity. Your main tasks will be about providing HR professional support and advice to managers. The position involves close contact with the municipality's managers, and gives good insight into the entire breadth of the HR subject.

Work tasks

In this position, the main focus will be on operational HR support and first-line service.

You will, among other things, work with

answer and follow up inquiries from managers and within HR, everything from A to Z

guide in matters relating to working conditions, absence, leaves of absence, recruitment and personnel management

support managers in the use of HR routines

contribute to good and predictable HR processes through structured and effective follow-up

carry out other HR work adapted to needs and competence

Qualifications

relevant higher education at bachelor's level (HR, organization and management, administration or equivalent) - relevant HR experience can compensate somewhat for education

basic knowledge of relevant legislation and agreements within working life and HR

good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian

good digital skills and the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new systems (Visma, GAT, Webcruiter, Public 360 and the service desk PureService)

Experience from the public sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Personal characteristics

We are looking for you who are service oriented, flexible and structured, and who are confident in meeting both managers and employees. You enjoy working operationally, handling many different inquiries and contributing to good solutions in everyday life.

You work accurately and systematically, have a good understanding of roles and are concerned with quality and predictability in HR work. At the same time, you are willing to learn, curious and motivated to develop yourself further. You contribute positively to collaboration and professional sharing in the team.
