Solgläntan is a group home within LSS where six young adults live.
We are looking for you who have the ability to deal with people in a professional manner based on their individual conditions and needs. You who are confident in finding new ways of working to create a clear and predictable everyday life for the individual. As a support teacher, you have a special responsibility for the educational work in the business. You combine the daily support to the individual with an overall responsibility for developing, quality assurance and following up working methods and methods. You work closely with the unit manager, support assistants and the individual's network to create the best conditions for each individual.

JOB DUTIES
In the assignment as a support pedagogue, you work to support the users in everyday life. The work includes, among other things, support with structure, community contacts, leisure activities, shopping, cooking, cleaning as well as planning and guidance with a focus on forward development based on the individual's needs and skills. An important part of the work is motivational work with a focus on strengthening the user's faith in their own abilities. The goal is to provide the conditions for an independent, meaningful and developing life.
In your assignment as a support educator, you are the contact person for some of the users, which means that you have contact with, for example, good people, are responsible for the implementation plan and attend meetings with the individual's network.
As a support teacher, you are an important part of the business's development. As a support pedagogue, you supervise and support colleagues in pedagogical matters and contribute to reflection and development in the work group. You are responsible for drawing up and following up implementation plans, action plans and job descriptions, as well as leading business meetings with a focus on the pedagogical work and the development of the business.
Communication is an important part of the work. We use clarifying pedagogy and low-affective treatment to create structure, security and understanding. This means that you treat the individual calmly and respectfully, take responsibility for the situation and, together with colleagues, find solutions that work in the long term.
The work involves working day, evening, weekend and sleeping on duty according to schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have post-secondary education as support pedagogue with a specialization in the field of disability with at least 200 vocational college credits, 120 college credits or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Other requirements:
· Two years of experience working with people with neuropsychiatric disabilities
· Two years of experience in challenging behavior and working with low-affective treatment (LAB)
· Good knowledge of social documentation and experience in establishing, following up and developing implementation plans
· Good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy
· Good knowledge of alternative and supplementary communication (AKK) - specific sign as support (TAKK)
Deserving:
· Training or experience in motivational interviewing (MI)
· Training in soft self-protection, for example Durewall, Studio III
· Driving license with Permit B (manual gearbox)
As a person, you are educational, confident, clear and structured and have the ability to handle the situations that may arise at work. You take responsibility for both the business, the individual and the practical tasks included in the assignment. At the same time, you are sensitive to the individual's needs and can adapt your way of working based on the situation and the individual. You contribute to good cooperation with your colleagues and have a professional and respectful attitude towards everyone you meet at work.
We would also like to see that you have an interest in exercise, physical activity and movement and use this as a natural part of creating an active and meaningful everyday life. You express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.
